This policy explains what information Rapporly ("we", "us") collects when you visit https://www.rapporly.com and how we use it. The site is intended for adults in the United States.

What we collect

  • Usage data from Vercel Web Analytics. Counts page views so we can see which articles are useful. It does not use cookies and does not identify you personally.
  • Usage data from Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site (pages viewed, time on page, approximate location, device and browser, and how you arrived). Google Analytics sets cookies and collects data such as your IP address, which Google processes under its partner-sites policy. We don't use it to identify you, and we don't use Google's advertising features.
  • Email address (when available). If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address and pass it to our email service provider to send you messages you asked for.
  • Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep the message so we can reply.

Cookies and opting out

The only cookies on this site come from Google Analytics. On your first visit a notice at the bottom of the page lets you decline them; choosing "Decline" turns Google Analytics cookies off and deletes any it already set. You can change your choice any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. You can also block cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics on every site with Google's opt-out browser add-on. Blocking them doesn't affect how the site works.

How we use it

We use this information to run and improve the site and to send newsletters you signed up for. We do not sell your personal information.

Email

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link and our mailing address, as required by the CAN-SPAM Act. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Your choices and state privacy rights

Depending on where you live (for example, California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or opt out of its sale or sharing. To make a request, email hello@rapporly.com.

Children

This site is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, in line with COPPA.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
