Rapporly publishes dating advice for men in the United States. This page explains where the advice comes from, how it gets checked, and what happens when something goes out of date.
Who writes it
Articles are written under the pen name Theo Lane. There is no psychology degree or coaching certificate behind the byline, and we won't claim one. What we can promise is the process below.
How a post is researched
- Topics start from questions people in the US actually search for.
- We read what already ranks for that question and look for what it gets wrong or leaves out.
- App features (Hinge, Bumble, Tinder and others) are checked against the apps' own help pages, press releases or recent reporting, because they change often.
- Any statistic or study is linked to its source. If we can't verify a number, it doesn't go in.
- City guides only list places we could confirm are open, with price ranges instead of exact prices, and a reminder to check before you go.
How it's written
Drafts are written with the help of AI tools, then edited by a person for accuracy, tone and usefulness. We don't publish invented personal stories, made-up experts or fake testimonials. When a post uses an example scenario, it's written as one ("say you...").
What we won't publish
No manipulation tactics, negging or scripts meant to pressure anyone. Every post about reading interest also covers how to take a no. Nothing here helps anyone contact a person who has blocked or unmatched them, and we don't promise guaranteed results.
Updates and corrections
Posts are reviewed when apps change, when a venue closes or when a reader reports a problem. Each article shows the date it was published and, when it has been revised, the date it was last updated. If you spot a mistake or something out of date, email hello@rapporly.com and we'll fix it.
Advertising and affiliate links
Rapporly doesn't run ads or affiliate links today. If that changes, links will be disclosed on the page and in our affiliate disclosure, and they won't decide what we recommend.
